ABOUT US
Shaun and I dated for 3.5 years, then, in 2009, we ran off to Lake Tahoe to get hitched. After that we settled down and raised our three children, all from previous relationships. I always knew I wanted to be a foster parent, so in 2013 I got up the courage to ask Shaun. To my delight he said, YES!
Once he said yes I of course started searching "How To Become A Foster Parent". The task seemed a little daunting with so many agencies and weeks of training. I was motivated though, so we picked an agency, started classes and made it through the home study.
Finally, in February of 2014 we were officially licensed! We were so excited! Two weeks later, in March, we received a call from our agency asking us to take placement of two little girls. Make sure to catch that story, and start our journey with us from the beginning!
